How To Bridge Metis From Layer 1 to Layer 2 Metis Blockchain Explained:
STEP 1- Bridging Metis To Layer 2
i. Go to https://bridge.metis.io/
ii. Click "Testnet" at the top of the network options dropdown menu
(you do the same for "mainnet" if bridging to Metis Mainnet Andromeda) but we are using testnet claim free Metis for our development on Metis Testnet Blockchain Stardust
iii. Connect Account
iv. Select Connect Metamask Wallet (ensure your Metamask is still on Rinkeby Test Network where we got the free test Metis from the previous lesson)
v. Click "DEPOSIT" and put the amount you want to bridge over (I select max to move the whole 2 Metis gotten from the faucet earlier)
vi. Click "APPROVE" and confirm in your Metamask wallet popup
vii. Click "CLAIM" It will ask you to confirm you intend to bridge from Rinkeby testnet to Metis Stardust
viii. You should see your bridged Metis completed - lets move to next step
STEP 2- Switch Metamask to Metis Testnet Blockchain:
i. Open Metamask
ii. Switch the network from "Rinkeby Test Network" To Our previously saved "Metis TESTNET Stardust" Network
