How To Setup Polis With Metamask For Development On Metis Blockchain Explained:
1- Option 1: Email Method
i. Go to https://polis.metis.io/
ii. Click "Sign up/ Sign in" with Email option
iii. Follow the instruction to sign in and access the Polis dashboard
2- Option 2: Metamask Method (Best option and Recommended for developers)
i. Open Metamask
ii. Select "Metis MAINNET Andromeda" or "Metis TESTNET Stardust" network we setup in the previous lesson video of this course
iii. The visit Polis website at https://polis.metis.io/
iv. Select Connect with Metamask option
v. You will land on the Polis dashboard
vi. Go To "Profile Settings"
vii. Click "Request For Developer Access"
viii. A pop might show trying to confirm if you really want the account upgraded to developer features
Apply to be a developer
Apply to be a developer Are you sure you want to apply for the developer account now?
ix. Click "Yes" and you will get a message acknowledging your request has been sent to admin and under review will be displayed
x. To confirm if you have made a request click the "Request For Developer Access" again.
This time the pop message will inform you if you did request previously and it's under review or approved
"You have submitted the request previously. We will review and grant you access soon."
